BEVER

OUTSIDE IS FOR EVERYONE

For years, Bever was one of my regular clients. Every season we headed out together for outdoor adventure shoots — forests, mountains, gravel roads, early mornings and unpredictable weather included. I was always the one behind the camera, documenting life outside.

After my accident, my relationship with the outdoors changed, but my love for it didn’t. I still wanted to be outside. Still wanted to travel, explore, photograph and experience nature. Only now from a wheelchair.

That became the starting point for this campaign with Bever.

Together, we created a story around the idea that the outdoors should be accessible to everyone. Not as an inspirational campaign, but as an honest reflection of reality: I was still the same photographer, still the same outdoor person, just moving through the world differently.

For this project, I stepped in front of the camera instead of behind it. The campaign focused not only on representation, but also on the practical side of outdoor life in a wheelchair. The importance of comfortable technical clothing, layering systems, weather protection and gear designed specifically for seated users.

Through my role as ambassador for Kinetic Balance, I also connected Bever with the adaptive outdoor brand. This eventually led to Bever adding the Kinetic Balance Raindeck to their collection, a small but meaningful step toward a more inclusive outdoor industry.

Because inclusivity becomes real when it quietly becomes normal.
