Every print is made in close collaboration with the finest printers in town, guaranteeing outstanding quality and a refined presence in your living space.
Hahnemühle FineArt Paper
All prints are produced exclusively on Hahnemühle FineArt paper.
Hahnemühle papers are internationally recognized for their exceptional quality and are widely used for exhibitions and limited edition fine art prints. Chosen for their surface character, colour fidelity, and archival stability, they provide a refined and timeless presentation.
Printed using Epson UltraChrome Pro pigment inks, the process delivers exceptional tonal depth, crystal-clear detail, and a perfectly balanced grey scale. The extended ink set — six colours and three shades of black — allows for subtle gradations and nuanced transitions across the image.
Each print is produced at ultra-high resolution (1,440 dpi), ensuring clarity, precision, and long-term colour stability that remains true to the original work.
Aluminium Mounting
Mounting a fine art print onto a 1 mm aluminium panel (commonly used as part of Alu-Dibond sandwich constructions) offers several technical and aesthetic advantages, particularly in terms of durability, presentation, and stability.
Durability and protection
Fine art prints are typically produced on high-quality, acid-free paper, which can remain sensitive to tearing, moisture, and creasing. By mounting the print onto a rigid aluminium support, the paper is effectively protected, resulting in a moisture-resistant and long-lasting presentation.
Stability and flatness
Paper naturally reacts to changes in temperature and humidity, which can cause subtle warping or undulation over time. Bonding the print to a dimensionally stable 1 mm aluminium panel ensures the work remains perfectly flat, even at larger sizes, preserving the integrity of the image and its presentation.
Professional Framing
Choosing how to finish a newly acquired work is an important part of the collecting process. The relationship between the image, its surroundings, and the framing plays a significant role in how the work is experienced.
All fine art prints are delivered with a generous white border, allowing for flexible and considered framing options. I am happy to advise on framing choices, taking into account both the work itself and the space in which it will be displayed.
Upon request, professional framing can be arranged in collaboration with an experienced frame maker working to museum standards. Frames are crafted from solid oak and finished in natural wood, black, or white, maintaining a restrained and contemporary presentation. Depending on the image, works may be framed with or without a white mat; this is discussed individually when framing is requested.
All framed works are finished using Artglass UV70 museum glass, providing high clarity while offering UV protection. A spacer is used to separate the glass from the artwork, ensuring the print remains untouched and properly preserved over time.
Framed works are delivered ready to hang. Please note that the addition of a border and frame will increase the final overall dimensions of the work.
